Chapter 15

I wished this trip could be the most special trip I ever had. I packed up some of my clothes that Amanda and Angela bought for me when they were shopping during the summer sales. Although it wasn’t really my style but all I can say it’s prevalent. I think I should be keeping myself on trend so that I wouldn’t get eliminate by the 21st century.  Just when I had finished packing up my stuffs into the luggage, my dad came into my room.

“Already done?” He asked curiously.
“Yea, there’s not much thing I have to take with me.” I grinned and he nodded lightly.
“Take good care of yourself.” He gave me an embrace and kissed my forehead.
“I will, Dad. Jasper will take care of me.” I smiled.
“You really do like him huh?” He frowned and sighed.
“Yes. He’s part of my life now.” I stared at his dignified expression.
“Okay then. Have fun at your trip and be safe.” He carried my luggage and walked to the foyer. I followed as I took my backpack beside me. Jasper was already outside the house when my dad decided to wait for him at the parking lots. I walked out as my dad walked towards the car where Jasper halted. Jasper grabbed over my luggage and placed carefully into the car boot.

“We have to leave now, Mr. Campbell.” Jasper said softly to my dad.
“Oh, okay. Take care of my daughter.” My dad turned to me and hugged even tighter than how he did just now.
“I will. I love you, dad.” I said as I went into the car. Jasper and my dad were both whispering to each other for a minute and Jasper then came into the car.
“What are you both talking about?”
“Just… remind me to take good care of you, with my life.” He chuckled and started the ignition.
“My dad is really verbiage.” I sighed.
“This is my responsibility. I will take care of you even if he didn’t really say so.” He smiled and turned on the radio. The classical music always made me feel comfortable and my heart was now filled with enjoyment. I started to be excited about the trip to Arizona. It’s been a long time since I got out of town. I smiled and we were enjoying the melody of the song during our way to the airport.

After searching for our sit in the plane, we leave our bag in the cabinet above our sit and sat in our place accordingly. It will be the first trip with Jasper after our three years cognitions. Jasper looked happy and kept a smile on his face all the time.
“I’m really happy.” He said with big smile. “I can see it from your face.” I pointed his smile and grinned.
“I will never let go off you this few weeks.” He holds my hand tightly in his palm and stared at me.
“What?” I asked shyly.
“Nothing” He smiled “You always looked so attractive to me.” He laughed as I pushed him away.
“How long I will be in Arizona?” I knew it was a late question but I still have to ask.
“Emm, it was a late question.” He chuckled “Maybe one or two. It really depends on you.”
“I can go whenever I want?”
“Hmm, technically…yes.” He chuckled.

The itinerary went smoothly and we arrived at Jasper’s home after an hour journey on the road. His house was very beautiful. The entire house was lacquer in white and the roof tiles were in dark blue. The surrounding of his house was all covered with plants and flower. I believed Aunt Allie put a lot of thought and efforts on the decoration of her forecourt. The house was bigger than I thought. Jasper’s father must have placed all of his effort on work.
“It’s…beautiful…” I couldn’t stop praising the splendid layout.
“My mom will be happy for your words.” He took the luggage out from the cab and led me into his house.
“Mom, we’re back.” Jasper shouted loudly and Aunt Allie appeared in the living room in a sudden.
“Hi, Raven. It’s nice to see you again.” Aunt Allie hugged me as a welcome greeting.
“Hi, it’s nice to see you again too, Aunt Allie. You looked pretty today.” I smiled and she patted my shoulder lightly.
“Thank you, darling. You should be tired. Jasper, bring Raven to the guest room. I’d prepared for you. Dinner will be ready soon.” Aunt Allie was a nice, intimate mother.
“Thank you for everything, Aunt Allie.” I hugged her initiatively. It probably was the first time.
“Oh, you’re so sweet.” She patted my back and I followed Jasper into the guest room.

“Your mom was absolutely…” I was thinking the word to express how gorgeous Aunt Allie was.
“Nice? Sweet? Or, perfect?” Jasper was trying to tease me.
“Everything, any word nice could describe her.” I chuckled.
“You’re nice too. That’s the reason she likes you.” I slapped Jasper backside lightly and sat on the bed.
“Thank you, Jasper. You did too much for me, but I didn’t…” The motion of his finger was faster than my words. His finger already landed on my lips to imply me a motion of ‘stop’.
“You’d said too much thank you to me. We don’t need too much of courteous anymore. You’re my girlfriend. This is what I should do for you. Please, no more thank you. It’s enough for now.” He said seriously and I nodded.
“But…” He stopped me again. “Take a shower. I’ll meet you at the dinner.” He grinned and leaved the room. I took a shower rapidly and wore a grey and white long sleeve shirt and a pair of jeans. I walked along with the scent and soon I got into the dining room. The dining room looked extremely sumptuousness. The table was long enough to fit in 20 people for a meal, which compared to my home was totally a world of difference. I could hardly disclosure that Jasper was already sat on his sit, waiting for the dinner to begin. There was a man sitting at the forefront of the long table. He looked solemn with beard, he own a fair-skinned just like Jasper did and with a medium built. I stood at the door for a long while trying to figure out who was he but Jasper just called out my name out loud.

“Raven! Come in. Don’t stand over there like a timber.” He smiled. I walked towards Jasper but I was completely distracted by the cutlery on the table. The display of the dinnerware was decent, elegant and noble. Jasper pulled out the chair gently and I was indicated to sit on it. I sat gently without undermined the atmosphere of grim.
“He’s my dad.” Jasper whispered beside my ear. Crap! He’s father?
“Hello, Mr. Whine. I’m Raven.” I said softly but I can feel my hand was starting to shudder. He’s father looked even solemn than I saw a second ago, he put down the newspaper and looked up at me.
“Well, hello, Raven.” His grim still existed but a smile appeared on his solemn face. His father was freaking me out, I thought myself.
“You were Jasper’s girlfriend, aren’t you?” He asked moderately. I nodded lightly and Jasper grinned.
“Jasper talked a lot about you with me and Allie. He said you’re special.” My eyes went wide when I heard the word ‘special’.
“Not exactly” I said vaguely. “Perhaps a little. I mean life experience.” Jasper sighed. I think he knew it meant to be my mom.
“Oh? How special was it? I’m interested.” He smiled and Jasper blocked his father.
“Dad” Jasper whispered and his dad frowned with distressed.
“It’s okay, Jasper.” I said softly. “My mom left me since I was eight years old and I couldn’t bestir for 9 years. That will be the reason which I was so special.” I said and mocked at myself.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I should never gossip about it.” Jasper’s father apologized.
“No, Mr. Whine. It wouldn’t hurt me anymore.” I nodded and he smirked as his guiltiness. Jasper stared at me curiously and I smiled. Just then, Aunt Allie came into the dining room with handful food. I immediately went to help to carry some of the food from her case in case she wouldn’t drop off. I placed on of the plate for Jasper and then myself.
“Aunt Allie, thank you for your dinner.” I grinned and she nodded happily.
“Let’s get started. I’m starving.” Jasper rectified the awkwardness atmosphere between his dad and me. It was nice to have a peaceful dinner with Jasper’s family. It seems both of them likes me and consent me as Jasper’s girlfriend but this brought me to think about how my dad treated Jasper. A sense of guilty fluttered in my mind towards Jasper. After the dinner, I helped out Aunt Allie in the kitchen. She talked a lot about her new life in Arizona and she looked happier than she was in Forks. Formerly staying beside a person who he or she loves will be the most blissful thing ever, just like I can feel the same feeling when I was genuinely beside Jasper. I enjoyed the moments that I spent with Jasper’s family, sharing about their separate lives for 3 years. It was a definite touch stories, and it made me recalled the paper that wrote by Jasper when he was young.

“Where were we going?” Jasper holds my hand and pulled me upstairs.
“We should treasure our time when we were together.” He said hurriedly and we went into his bedroom. His bedroom was very neat and tidy. The design of his room was extremely different. It owned its own style and just enough to utterance the personality of Jasper. His room was freight with considerable light. I think the bedroom was too big so it needed a lot of light to support the brightness of the room. There was a lot of photographs and bookrack tacked on the wall and in fact there were a lot of books on it.
“You read them?” I asked curiously. If he said yes I definitely wasn’t an attentive girlfriend ever.
“No. Partly, but most of it was my father. He loves to read. He will shift these books away soon.”
Besides, his bedroom was also painted in white but with hand drawing layout on the wall. It was extraordinary and I knew it must be expensive to make such craft. The desk, the mattress, everything in his room doesn’t look cheap at all. Jasper was actually living in a wealthy family, and he’s actually richer than I thought.
“You’re rich.” I said softly as I looked out from the window.
“Ray…what are you trying to say?” Jasper sighed and lied on his comfortable bed.
“Nothing. I was just surprise. “I grinned and walked towards his bed.
“I wouldn’t spot any girls. I promised.”  He pressed his lips into a straight line.
“I don’t mean that.” I sat beside him and fooled with his hand.
“I know. I know everything but I just want to ask you a serious question.” He reclined on his bed and stared at me.
“My dad brought you back of your mother but you don’t look sad at all and you said it wouldn’t hurt anymore. Really? Like really?” He looked so curious that I never had seen before. I nodded lightly and started with my words.
“I went to my mom before the beach party. I told her…that…I should let go of the pain that obscure in the heart for 9 years and I met a guy who treated me, really special and he never gave up holding me back from the pain and I had determined to implement a wish for him because…I love him just like how much you love dad.” I felt relieved after blurting out everything. Jasper gazed at me with seriousness. He leaned towards me and hugged me so tightly.
“Although it will be hard for me, but I will try. I promise.” I whispered beside his ears softly and he hugged me even tighter.
“Just try.” He released me and said with a grin on his face.
“I love you.”
“I love you, Raven.” He leaned forward and kissed lightly on my forehead. It would be truly the first time we said we love each other in the presence. The trip was finally started to accumulate memories between Jasper and I.
“Where were we going tomorrow?” I asked to distract him from staring at me and playing fool with my hair.
“Emm, where would you like to go then?” He grinned and pulled me to lie closely beside him.
“Oh, yes. Jennifer snugged a paper to me few months ago and I found out it was a CD shop in Arizona. I wondered why she gave it to me…” I frowned as he pressed my glabella to relieve my impalpability.
“Oh, right. I totally forgot about that. I pleaded Jennifer to find it. May be we can try to find the song you want in that shop.” He smiled and started to play with my hair again. I nodded and lay even closer on his chest.
“I guess I’ll get back to my room. You need some rest.” I prepared to leave but his hand pulled me back to deter me from moving.
“Can you stay here tonight? I had longing to have a good sleep.” He pleaded me to accept his offered.
“I never deny you.” I nodded lightly and sleep in his embrace.

I swear was the best night I ever had. I never slept so well even though I was extremely tired. I woke up early in the morning when I inadvertently heard the chirping of the birds. Jasper was sleeping very still and soundly. I touched lightly on his face and playing with his hair but he was still fast asleep. I went out his bedroom and walked back into the room, which Aunt Allie had prepared for me. With a fast motion, I had taken a fragrant bath in the bathroom and prepare to go for the CD shop. Just then an aroma floating out from the kitchen, I think it would be Aunt Allie preparing breakfast for us. I tacked with the aroma and walked into the kitchen.

“Mr. Whine?” I whispered to myself but Mr. Whine turned over and looked and me. I bet he heard what I said.
“Good morning, Raven.” He smiled as a beckon.
“Good morning, Mr. Whine. I thought it was Aunt Allie.” I gripped my hair and grinned.
“Oh, she wasn’t feeling well today. So, I replaced her job. I hope you won’t mind a man doing a breakfast.” He laughed.
“Is she okay?” I asked worriedly “No, of course not. My dad used to make me breakfast.” I grinned.
“She’ll be fine. Oh, I guess your dad was really good at cooking.” He smiled.
“Will she be at breakfast later? Not really.” I smiled. “Anything I can help you?” I asked him but he looked delighted.
“Of course. So, you cooked all the time? Oh, yes. Can you wash the vegetables over there? I’ll be making plentiful salad.” He looked happy today.
“Emm, just dinner. Oh, sure. I can help you that. I’m good at making salad.” I laughed.
“I guess your dad would be lucky to have a daughter like you.” He laughed. “Really? Well, I guess I’ll pass the job to you then.” He then turned to concentrate on his cooking.
“I think I would be lucky to have a dad like him.” I laughed “Sure, trust me.” I said confidently. He laughed and I started my work very quickly. Making a salad always wasn’t a challenge to me. After finished preparing the salad and helping Mr. Whine in the kitchen, I went out to the dining room to place the breakfast on the luxury table neatly. Mr. Whine and I spent our time chattering while we were waiting for Jasper and Aunt Allie.
“Raven, serves as yourself.” Mr. Whine finally looked amiable to me.
“Thank you, Mr. Whine but shouldn’t we wait for Jasper and Aunt Allie?” I asked curiously because according to the movie which I had watched, the rich people always waited for the family attendance.
“We can eat while we were waiting. There are no certain rules in our home.” He smiled.
“Oh, I understand.” I grinned and rationed some of my hand-made salad.
“Wow, taste excellent.” Mr. Whine nodded and smiled widely. Jasper came into the dining room with a smile on his face.
“Good morning dad and good morning Raven.” He kissed lightly on my hair and sat on the chair.
“You should try the salad. Raven made it.” Mr. Whine smiled. Jasper speedily grabbed the salad and tasted it.

“Dad, Raven always good at cooking.” I smiled when he praised at me.
“I admitted that right now.” He thumbs up at me and started to read his newspaper.
“Why didn’t you wake me up before you leave the room?” He whispered to me.
“I did. Emm, I mean I play with your hair and… That’s not the point.” I frowned. “You looked tired so I didn’t wake you up.” Aunt Allie came in once I finished my words.
“Good morning.” A smile flashed on her ashen face.
“Are you feeling better dear?” Mr. Whine asked Aunt Allie with a thoughtful greeting.
“Better.” Aunt Allie walked towards Mr. Whine and kissed on his lips lightly. “I’m sorry.” Aunt Allie looked shy and sat down while Jasper poured the coffee into Aunt Allie’s cup.
“You should take more rest. I think you’re too tired. I’m sorry that I bothered you.” I sighed.
“Thank you darling. I’ll have some tablets later. I will be fine soon.” She grinned and sipped her coffee gently. The breakfast finished very quickly. Jasper and I cleaned up the table and we went out after finished the work in the house so that Aunt Allie wouldn’t be worried for the chores k that she haven’t done yet.

“Are we going to the shop?” I asked when Jasper holds my hand after we went out from the house.
“Yea, seems like you’d already recognized by my parents huh.”  He chuckled.
“Don’t you like it?” I grinned.
“Of course I am. I’m glad.” He smiled and started the ignition.
“Is this…your car?” I asked curiously.
“Yea, my dad bought it for me. It’s kind of far from school so I need to drive.”
“Is that shop far?” I frowned.
“Maybe 15 minutes? I went there once after Jennifer sent me the address.”
“Are you sure there will have the song that I wanted for?” I hopefully it will.
“I’m not sure. It’s quite an old classical music shop and the owner was really strange.” He frowned and I thought the owner probably had strange manners.
“How strange was it?” I laughed.
“I’m not joking. He’s really strange. You know why I’ll say that later.” He gulped.

It was really an old classical music shop but obviously the shop had repainted a few days ago. I went into the shop directly without any hesitation, wished I could find the CD soon. The shop was filled with dim light, I could hardly see through the name on the cover of the CD on the rack. There’s no one working on the counter even the whole store I couldn’t find any workers. Jasper stepped in the shop tardily and grabbed my hand to express his fear.
“It’s okay, Jasper. There’s nothing…okay, I admit that this is really strange. Nobody was in the shop. Lunch hour, probably.” I felt weird. “Maybe we should come back later.” I said to Jasper.
“Hello young lady, may I help you?” A hoarse voice came into my ear when I was holding the knob of the door, decided to leave. I swerved my body towards the sound and an old man standing right at the counter.
“Hi.” I said softly. “I told you it’s weird. He scared me twice when I came last time.” Jasper whispered softly beside my ear, I hold my breath in order to hold my laughter. I walked towards the counter and Jasper followed closely beside me so that he wouldn’t get scare by the old man for a third time.
“I wondered if you sell a classical music, Moonlight Sonata?” I asked with hoped.
“Of course. I have all classical music CD in my shop.” He chuckled and coughed lightly.
“Can you sell it for me?” I stared at him.
“I don’t sell to people I don’t know. I’m sorry.” He grinned and started to leave the counter.
“Wait, I really need it. Please.” I begged to stop him from walking far from me.
“Oh, well well well.” He turned his back and stared at me. “Why should I? I only sell to people who I think that he or she is eligible to buy my CD.” He grinned and turned his back to me again.
“Bizarre!” Jasper yelled at him. He turned very quickly and glanced at Jasper.
“Young man, you should have better manners. One last time, I wouldn’t sell for you, young lady. Leave now.” He said sternly and disappeared from my sight.
“Raven, come on. He wouldn’t sell it for us.” He walked towards and pulled me out of the shop.
“No, Jasper. He will sell it for me.” I get rid from his grasp and I walked inwards to find the old man.
“I’m not leaving until you sell me the disc. It meant a lot to me, please. It was part of the memories that my mom left for me…and…” The old man suddenly appeared behind me and patted my backside.
“What’s the matter with your mom?” He talked gloomily and I swerved and looked shocked.
“Emm, my mom dead.” I said sadly but he looked quite interesting with my story. “My mom dead when I was eight. I spent nine years to find this song in Forks but there’s not even a piece existed. I wouldn’t give up on you.” I said insistently. He turned and walked away without a word. I followed him but he gestured to stop my steps. I walked towards Jasper and hold him as a supportive.
“I think he really wouldn’t sell it for me.” I sighed and an intention telling me to leave.
“Young lady, wait.” He was already standing at the counter, waving me to walk back to him.
“Here, take it.” He sighed and then a smile appeared on his face.
“How much was it? I’ll pay?” I said happily and a big wide smile appeared on my face too.
“Free of charge. I hope you will take really good care of it. It’s my treasure” He smiled and coughed lightly.
“Really? Thank you. I will, definitely.” I jumped up and hugged Jasper tightly.
“Yes! I got it!” I shouted loudly with full happiness. Jasper smiled and apologized to the old man.
“Young lady, you should be more careful when you choose a boyfriend.” He stared at Jasper and looked at me with his amiable smile.
“Thank you. He is a good guy, sir.” I smiled and Jasper’s hand rounded on my waist.
“Oh, really? Hopefully he is. Thank you for coming. I hope to see you again.” He smiled happily and waved to me.
“I guarantee. Thank you!” I walked out from the shop with a big wide smile but Jasper doesn’t look happy at all but mad.

“Aren’t you happy that I get the disc?” I asked him softly while he was driving.
“Yes but I’m angry with that old man. He judged me so badly.” Jasper was angry with that weird but friendly old man.
“He’s not that bad. Maybe he just dislikes people yelling at him. Don’t be so angry, Jas.” He nodded lightly and grinned.
“Where were we going now? How about taking a lunch?” I asked and he smiled with delight. He drove and stopped by an organic restaurant.
“This?” I pointed at the restaurant and frowned.
“Yes, you don’t like it?” He asked curiously.
“No, of course not. When you started to eat so healthy?”  I teased him purposely. He pinched my cheek and grabbed my hand. A waiter walked towards and led us to a table with two sits. He placed the menu gently on the table and left.
“So, did you come here often?” I asked.
“Just a few times with my mom but the executive were really nice.” He grasped his hair lightly and turned his menu.
“Hey, Jasper.” A pretty girl walked towards our table and smiled sweetly. Jasper stood up and hugged her lightly.
“Hey. How are you?” Jasper smiled happily and patted her back. I could feel a sense of jealousy from my heart.
“I’m fine. How about you? I never seen you been here in a while.” She looked disappointed and turned to look at me.
“Fine. When will you be back to school?” Jasper didn’t answer her question directly but switched the topic.
“Emm, I’ll probably be back after the holiday. You can’t wait to see me huh?” She smiled mischievously. This made me felt extremely mad but I have to tolerate she was Jasper’s friend.
“Oh! l like you to meet someone.” Jasper swerved to me and said.
“Hi, I’m Chloe.” She said reluctantly. I think she purposely ignored my existence.
“Raven.” I said vindictively then turned my gazed on the menu.
“Raven is my girlfriend.” Jasper said and smiled.
“Seriously? I thought you were single.” She looked disappointed but a joy arises from my heart.
“I never admit that I was single.” He laughed and sat back to his sit.
“Oh well, I come back for order in a minute.” She glanced at me and left. Jasper was still laughing because of the ‘single’ or ‘no single’. I didn’t bother about his laughter but to concentrate on my meal. After the meal, I went out straightforwardly from the restaurant and waited for Jasper. I glanced into the restaurant and find where did Jasper gone. The girl name Chloe was hugging Jasper and both of her eyes were staring at me to display how happy she was. The madness was burning up my head and Jasper wasn’t detaching from the hug. I couldn’t stay any longer to watch the girl for doing this to Jasper and I couldn’t just recklessly pull him away, that was totally immature. I walked away unauthorized without waiting for him. The anger was continuously burning on my head. I never stopped walking on the street until I landed on the lawn of the garden. I sat on the bench in the garden and review about myself.

Did he found out that I was lost? Was he still talking with Chloe and forgot about my existence? Was I totally immature because of my jealousy? What should I interpret when I see Jasper again?
There’s a lot of uncertain question I couldn’t answered to myself. I shouldn’t get angry with him because Jasper always got welcoming from everyone. I don’t know how long did I sat on the bench because I leave my phone and watch in Jasper’s house but until I met an old lady strolling with her puppy.

“Excuse me. Do you know what the time now?” I asked softly when the old lady sat on the bench which I was sitting on.
“It’s three past seven now.” She smiled and petting her puppy dog.
“It’s late. Jasper must me worried.” I said to myself.
“Arguing huh?” She grinned and stared at me. I shook my head and told her the truth of my jealousy. I wondered why I told the old lady.
“I’d been through it. I thought my thirty-year’s marriage was going to an end but because I believe he will never left me and he didn’t until now.”  She sighed but a smile.
“How did you get rid over with it? Why didn’t your husband accompanied you now?” I asked too many question which made her frowned. “I’m sorry.” I quickly apologized before she got mad.
“It’s nothing dear. He was my first love and my true love. I never doubt on him in my entire life even though he told me that he wanted to divorce. I still believe he had hardship with it. He was rich, rich enough to buy everything. That’s the reason he lost his control with the pretty young lady. The lady was pregnant, and she often intimidated me to force me to leave my husband because he wouldn’t fell for me again. I was really jealous and mad with the lady but not my husband.” I saw the tears started to drip from her eyes. I gave her a piece of tissue to console her and she continued her story.  “I love him more than everything.  I never demand anything from him but the lady did. He busted eventually. The lady deluded every property of him and he came back to me. He begged me, pleaded me to accept him back for his lapse.” I can see how painful her story was.
“Did you?” I asked softly.
“No, he never knew how much he had harmed me. What did I do for him, and how I survive when he disappeared in my life thoroughly. Suicide was the most stupid thing I had ever done in my life but I never regretted.” She smiled and breathes to mollify her tone. “I forgave him. I forgave him because I remember the things he did right to me and forget the one thing he had done wrong. I spent my entire life with a man, knowing him for fifty years. Fall for him for fifty years and now he was dead, but he was still in my heart. Always in my heart and I can feel him beside me sometimes” She touched her chest with a smile and enjoy in the scent of love.
“You are a pretty young lady too but I assure you are a pure, wonderful, special young lady and your guy will loves you with his life.” She smiled joyfully.
“Am I worth for it?” I asked myself. “Of course. Everyone worth a chance to love. Jealousy is just frustration…never let jealousy deprived the love between you and him.” the old lady was really kind, the way she comforted just like the tone of my mom.
“Thank you for your story. It really will trigger the starting points for me to see through different kind things. How should I call you? I’m Raven.” I asked politely.
“It’s my pleasure to help you. Call me Elizabeth.” She smiled and stood up slowly with her crutch.
“Thank you Elizabeth. Can I visit you sometime when I was in Arizona?”
“Oh, you’re not from Arizona aren’t you?” She frowned and asked.
“I’m from Forks. I came here to visit my boyfriend. I think I will be in Arizona for two weeks.” I smiled and she wrote her address on my hand and started to walk home.
“Your boyfriend was really lucky to have you. Oh, of course you can visit when you come back to Arizona.” She smiled happily. I grinned.
“Let me help you home.” I grinned and she nodded lightly.
After sending Elizabeth back to her home safe and sound, the sky was getting darker. I guess the time had turned eight o’clock already. I walked slowly on the street beneath the dim street lights. In fact, I have no idea where Jasper house was. In that case, I could only rove on the street until Jasper found out where I am. The street was totally empty and quiet during the night. I could only hear the sound of my pace. Although I was afraid of the emptiness, darkness and the unfamiliar street, I have to enhance my volition to be calm until the dawn rises out and I could take a cab to get back. Just then, a saw a few guys walking across the street, It became a hope to me. I dashed forwards and shouted at them.

“Excuse me!” I shouted at them and they turned to me. There were four of them. They looked strong, tall, and gentlemen but I couldn’t stop thinking about a girl being rape by the men whom looked gentle in the middle of the night. This sort of things often broadcast on the radio even the movie.
“Do you need any help?” One of the guys asked friendly.
“Yes. I was finding Jasper. Uh, no. I mean I’m lost.” I frowned and sighed but I was still aware of the guys.
“Don’t be nervous, we won’t do anything to you.” The other guys laughed and said.
“We’ll bring you to the police department.”
“Thank you very much.” I thanked them for their helpfulness.
“Wait. Wait… Did I hear you said Jasper just now?” The guy who was wearing a red jacket stared at me.
“I did. Is there any problem?” I frowned and started to shudder because of the cold weather.
“Are you talking about Jasper Whine?” when I heard he could speak out Jasper name made me delighted.
“You know him?” I asked curiously.
“Of course. We all know him, we’re friends.” He smiled and the others followed to look even friendly to me.
“I didn’t see your face around. Are you a new transfer student?”
“I’m from Forks. I’m not. I came here for holiday.” I said and he pulled me to walk.
“And so you lost.” One of the guys laughed behind me.
“Where are you bringing me to?” I asked worriedly. “Jasper’s home, of course. We told you we weren’t bad guys.” He sighed and frowned.
“I’m sorry. Thanks for the help, a lot. I owe you.” He smiled when I said thanked to him.
“Ya, you owe me once. I never let go this chance.” He smiled and pulled me closer to him but I denied.

After a long journey of walking, I saw Jasper’s house was just at end of the street which I was walking on. Jasper was standing outside of his house, he looked worried.
“Hey, Jasper!” The red jacket guy standing beside me shouted. Jasper turned towards the sound and eyes went wide. He ran over and stared at me.
“Where did you go?” He stared at me sternly.
“I…” When I was supposed to say that I went off because I was jealous, one guy broke my words.
“She was lost.” He laughed.
“You found her?” Jasper looked at the red jacket guy and asked.
“No, she found us and she asked us to help her.” He grinned. “Thanks a lot, Jack.” Jasper patted on his shoulder and grinned.
“Who is she? You looked so nervous.” The guy name Jack asked curiously.
“She’s my girlfriend, of course I’m nervous.” These words made me felt so comfortable that I wasn’t regretted that I was lost.
“Your girl..? Jesus Christ.” Jack sighed and grasped his hair and messed it up.
“What’s the matter right now?”  Jasper looked fierce and rounded on my waist.
“Nothing.” Jack sighed and turned to walk away.
“Probably he likes your girl. We’ll see you next week, Jasper.” All of them turned and walked away silently.
“What happened just now? Why did they said he likes you?” He stared at me seriously.
“I was lost and I just searched for help. I don’t know.” I looked downwards on my shoes.
“Okay, we skip that first. Why did you walked away without telling me? Do you know how worried I am? I’d searched everywhere. Can’t you even inform me before you leave?” It was the first time he yelled at me.
“I’m sorry….” I apologized softly. “I was just mad at that girl. You’re not even pulling her away for hugging you and her eyes was totally…pissed me off. How could you…”
“You didn’t trust me.” He sighed and enhance his volume, emphasized his right and derogatory my right.
“Neither do you.” I shouted. Jasper stared at me and pulled me into the house hardly. His grasp made my hand hurt, but I didn’t get a chance to groan for my pain. He looked extremely angry but he didn’t vent on me.
“Go get bath and take some rest. You should be tired.” He stormed back to his room and left me all by myself. I didn’t console or give him an explanation on that night. I knew both of us weren’t going to have a nice conversation about for what we did today.
